Can I have participants pay on a set schedule?
Yes. When you add a new session, you’ll see a **Pricing Structure** field with two options: **Pay In Full/Deposit** or **Payment Schedule**.
Most organizations select **Pay In Full/Deposit** because it’s more flexible. With this option, participants can either pay the full amount upfront (leaving no remaining balance) or pay just the deposit (if you enable deposits, they may have a remaining balance). When deposits are enabled, you can also use **Auto-Charge Remaining Balance** on a specific date so you don’t have to manually follow up on unpaid balances. If you don’t enable auto-charging, participants can pay down their remaining balance on their own timeline.
The **Payment Schedule** option is more structured and works well for specific use cases. With this setup, you define a **Down Payment** amount and then configure the schedule for the **Remaining Additional Payments**. All participants are placed on the same payment schedule, so those who want to pay in full at registration will not be able to do so with this option.
