What happens if I need to cancel a session?
Plan of action if you need to cancel or reschedule a session
1) Go to the Event Setup section and choose the 'Action--Pause' option next to the session to prevent new registrations.
2) Notify participants who have already registered about your decision. If you plan to reschedule and they are unable to attend the new date, encourage them to reach out via email if they require a refund. Refunds may take a few days to process, so it's advisable to request their patience as you navigate through the refund process. To process the refund, simply click on the participant's name, scroll down to the Payment History section, and select the Refund button. Our system will notify them once the refund has been successfully issued.
3) If you are rescheduling the event, we suggest creating a new session (duplicating the original session if it makes sense to) and updating the dates, price, etc. Then you can return to the old session and click Action--Change Session or Program next to each participants name. If you have lots of people registered for the original session and everything except the date is the same, you can reach out to Camp Network and we can override the dates on our side. This will avoid the step of having to transfer participants from the original session to the new session.
